Dr. Philip Duchastel

Philip Duchastel is working in the emerging area of information design, at the crossroads of information, cognition and technology. The Information Design Atelier serves to structure these efforts in information design theory.

He obtained his doctorate in the field of instructional systems. His interests in knowledge, information systems and technologies led him to a dynamic career that involved him in organizational innovation within universities and corporations, in innovative uses of computers for learning and instruction, in new forms of distance education, in online education, and in internet development and marketing.

Current ambitions include the following:

• Collaborate in establishing the theoretical foundations of this new field.
• Create an advanced and innovative educational program as a model in the field.
